Emily is the net zero policy lead for the UK’s National Standards Body, the British Standards Institution (BSI), and an Associate of Oxford Net Zero, focusing on the role of standards in accelerating the global net zero transition. Emily was a convenor of the ISO Net Zero Guidelines development process in 2022, which now forms the basis of the ISO net zero standard, the world’s first international standard on net zero emissions for organisations. Before joining BSI, Emily worked at the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as a Senior Policy Advisor on Net Zero Governance for the UK’s Net Zero Strategy.

Kilian Daly is Executive Director at EnergyTag, a nonprofit, where he leads global efforts to advance 24/7 clean energy markets and more accurate carbon accounting. He was lead author of the world’s first standard for hourly electricity tracking - backed by 100+ organisations including UN Energy, Google, and Microsoft - and regularly engages with governments and industry to shape next-generation clean energy policy.

Jessica is the co-founder and CEO of Sumday, a leading carbon accounting software company. With a background in accounting and sustainability, she’s on a mission to make environmental reporting as routine and rigorous as financial reporting. Jessica helps businesses build the capabilities to own their carbon data and embed it into everyday decision-making.

Paul is the founder of CDP, co-founder of Transition Value Partners and a presenter on the Outrage & Optimism podcast alongside Christina Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac. He founded CDP in 2000 with an ambition of creating a global economic system that operates within sustainable environmental boundaries and prevents dangerous climate change.

Maia is Global Director of the GHG Protocol at WBCSD, co-leading its secretariat alongside WRI. With over 15 years’ experience, she previously directed corporate and cities reporting at CDP, helping thousands of organisations—including large global companies and municipalities—measure and disclose climate-related data.

Michael is a globally‑recognised authority on greenhouse‑gas measurement. He has shaped climate policy and systems since the mid‑1990s. A lead author on multiple IPCC reports (contributing to the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize), he’s served as a negotiator and methodology expert under the UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol. He also advises the SBTi and ICVCM.

Tamara leads sustainability at Xero, the global accounting software firm. On a mission to shake up how business leaders think about sustainability, she helps organisations embed responsible practices – from carbon accounting to ethical supply chains – into everyday decisions. With over 25 years of international experience, Tamara cuts through the noise to turn sustainability from a nice-to-have into how business gets done.

Duncan Oswald is Climate Science Lead at Sage, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in environmental consultancy. A chartered environmentalist and net-zero specialist, he helps organisations from governments to multinationals, turn climate science into practical decarbonisation strategies that deliver real-world impact.

Hanna’s research focuses on the development of efficient and implementable decarbonization strategies and instruments. Currently, Hanna's work focuses on green electricity claims, examining pathways to more granular matching to effectively drive investments in renewable energy sources and storage solutions.

Tim Croker is Head of Carbon Accounting at Climatiq and a former Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA). With over 17 years’ experience in carbon accounting, he has worked across public and private sectors to build robust, science-aligned emissions tools and strategies. At Climatiq, Tim leads the science and data team, helping organisations integrate accurate, audit-ready carbon data into their decision-making and reporting systems.

Madeleine is the Director of the Verified Carbon Market (VCM+) Coalition and the Technical Lead for the Taskforce for Corporate Action Transparency (TCAT). Madeleine joined the Taskforce for Corporate Action Transparency and VCM+ Coalition from McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader in the Sustainability Practice and a founding member of the Nature Service Line.

Lindsay is Co‑Founder & COO of Sumday, a leading carbon accounting platform. A qualified CPA with more than a decade’s experience—from audit to sustainability strategy—he’s on a mission to equip accountants and organisations with the tools and education needed to embed carbon accounting alongside financial reporting.

Richard is a full‑time member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). Previously, he was Deputy Dean and Professor of Accounting at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he led sustainable business initiatives and taught corporate reporting and sustainability disclosure. Richard has served on key reporting bodies such as the UK Corporate Reporting Council, the Financial Reporting Advisory Board, and chaired the Expert Panel of Accounting for Sustainability.
